The world has been rocked this week by the news that Robin Williams, 63, had committed suicide, a comedian adored by everyone. None more so than his ex-Sugar Baby, stunning blond artist Charlotte Filbert, who had a Sugar relationship with Robin Williams when he was 56 and she was 27.
‘It’s very, very sad. My thoughts and prayers are with his family,’ she said after news of his death. ‘I have my own family now, I just had a baby, and I am thinking about his family.’
The May-December couple met through their mutual love of art, introduced to each other by designer Tommy Hilfiger’s socialite daughter Ally. Williams was going through a separation from his second wife, Marsha.
Sugar Daddy Robin Williams bought several of Charlotte’s paintings, and was reportedly giving her a monthly allowance of $10,000, that she used to rent a plush pad in Manhattan.
Williams and his Sugar Baby artist parted company amicably and he went on to marry his third wife, graphic designer Susan Schneider, in 2011. Last year Charlotte married fellow artist and furniture designer Benjamin Caldwell, 30.
